Veggies Chicken Triple Cheese Pizza Recipe


Ingredients:


For the dough:


2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour


1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast


1 tsp sugar


¾ cup warm water


1 tbsp olive oil


1 tsp salt

For the toppings:


1 cup grilled chicken breast (cubed or shredded)


1 small red bell pepper (sliced)


1 small green bell pepper (sliced)


1 small onion (sliced)


½ cup mushrooms (sliced)


½ cup spinach leaves


1 medium tomato (sliced)


1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)


½ cup cheddar cheese (shredded)


¼ cup parmesan cheese (grated)


½ cup pizza sauce


Olive oil (for drizzling)


Salt, pepper, and Italian herbs (to taste)



Instructions:


1. Prepare the dough:


In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.


In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.


Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.




2. Preheat the oven:


Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.




3. Prepare the toppings:


Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Grill or pan-cook the chicken until cooked through. Set aside.


Prepare the veggies by slicing the bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes.

4. Assemble the pizza:


Roll out the dough to your desired thickness on a lightly floured surface.


Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.


Add a layer of mozzarella cheese, followed by the chicken and prepared veggies.


Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and top with parmesan for the final layer.




5. Bake the pizza:


Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the toppings. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and melted.




6. Serve:


Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice and enjoy your Veggies Chicken Triple Cheese Pizza!
